# Dashboard overview

> What every section of the DueZen home screen shows, and how to reorder or hide sections to match your priorities.

The dashboard is the first screen you see. Every section on it can be reordered or hidden.

## The highlights ticker

At the top of the dashboard sits a horizontally scrollable carousel of stat cards. Each card surfaces one metric: total due this month, number of overdue items, your payment streak, and others.

* Swipe horizontally to browse all cards
* Tap a card to jump to the related detail screen
* Reorder and hide cards in **Settings → Highlights Ticker**
* The ticker updates in real time as you mark payments

## Calendar, quick add, and status cards

Below the ticker, the **calendar card** shows a month at a glance with colored dots on each day. Tap a day to list everything due on it.

| Dot color | Meaning  |
| --------- | -------- |
| Red       | Overdue  |
| Amber     | Upcoming |
| Green     | Paid     |

Swipe the calendar left or right to move between months.

The **quick add** button records a payment in one tap, which suits cash payments and one-off expenses. See [Quick Add](/core/quick-add) for the full sheet.

**Status cards** below show your spending pace, budget progress, free trial alerts, and savings goals.

## Reorder and hide sections

Go to **Settings → Dashboard Layout** to rearrange the screen.

    Hold the handle on any row and drag it into position.

  <Step title="Toggle visibility">
    Tap the eye icon to show or hide a section. Hidden sections stay active — they just do not appear on the dashboard.

Changes save automatically and take effect immediately.

<Tip>
  If you check savings goals every morning, move that card to the top. The dashboard is worth arranging around whatever you actually look at.
