# Celebrations and rewards

> The four kinds of celebration in DueZen — full-screen, mini-burst, money-saved, and quiet confirmations — and when each fires.

DueZen marks moments in four different ways, scaled to how significant the moment is. Everything listed here is also logged to [Your Journey](/advanced/your-journey) with its date and quote.

## Full-screen celebrations

Confetti falls, a card fades in, and a quote pairs with a haptic pulse before auto-dismissing.

These fire for:

* **All bills paid for the month** — when the last bill of the current month flips to paid
* **Savings goal reached (100%)** — trophy, confetti, and the goal's accent color
* **Streak tiers** — 3, 6, 12, and 24 consecutive on-time months
* **Budget kept** — the first time you open the app in a new month after finishing the previous one under budget

Details:

* Each tier fires once. Breaking and rebuilding a streak does not re-fire it
* Confetti intensity varies: 30 particles for wins, 18 for reflective moments
* Auto-dismisses after about 4 seconds, or tap to close early

## Mini-burst toasts

First-time moments get a smaller celebration: a toast slides up from the bottom with about 10 particles bursting from its top edge. Each fires exactly once, ever.

* First bill created
* First savings goal created
* First deposit on any goal (once per goal)
* Onboarding completed

The toast auto-dismisses after 3 seconds, and the quote text rotates between several variants per moment.

## Money-saved moments

When DueZen saves you money, a green **+\$X.XX** chip rises from the source card and fades, alongside a toast explaining what you caught.

| Trigger                       | What happened                                                                       |
| ----------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Trial cancelled before charge | You archived a free-trial reminder while the billing date was still in the future   |
| Flux alert caught             | You paid a flux-enabled bill at least 2% and \$0.50 below its three-payment average |

## Quiet confirmations

Small actions get a plain toast with no particles, confirming something happened.

* **Export sent**, after Export Data completes
* **Theme: {name}**, when you change themes
* **Alerts are on**, when notification permissions are granted
* **Goal closed**, when you archive a completed savings goal
* **Deposit or withdrawal removed**, with a 5-second **Undo** option

<Tip>
  The Undo action on destructive toasts is the fastest way to recover from a mistap. It is worth pausing for the few seconds it stays on screen rather than reaching for the delete history.
