Every payment you record is stored with its date and amount, and appears in your history.

Mark an item as paid

There are two ways to do it, and both record the same information.
Swipe the bill card left. Fastest option for a list of items. See Swipe gestures.
The payment date defaults to today and is editable on the detail screen. For recurring bills, marking paid advances the due date to the next cycle automatically — the item stays in your list ready for the following period.

Undo and payment history

Every payment action can be undone. When you mark something paid, a toast slides up with an Undo button. Tapping it removes the payment record and returns the item to its unpaid state. All payments are stored in the History tab, organized by month. Each entry shows the item name, amount, date, and whether it was on time, late, or manually edited.
  • The undo toast is available for 4 seconds after each payment action
  • Filter history by status (paid, late, overdue) or time range
  • Export everything as a CSV from Settings → Export Data

Sparklines and streaks

Each bill’s detail screen shows a sparkline — your last four payment dates plotted as dots on a timeline. It makes a habit visible: whether you tend to pay early, on time, or late. A streak badge also appears on the detail screen once you have consecutive on-time payments. Streaks of 3, 6, 12, and 24 months are recognized with a celebration and logged to Your Journey. Each time you mark a payment, DueZen shows a short quote from a rotating set of more than 30 messages.
