Each bill can have its own reminder offset and delivery time, and every notification type can be turned off individually.

Reminder offsets and custom times

The default is 3 days before the due date. Presets run from 1 day to 2 weeks, and Custom accepts any number of days.
  • Presets: 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks before the due date
  • Custom offset: any number of days in advance
  • Custom time: the exact hour and minute the reminder fires
  • Each bill has its own independent reminder time
Some plans support two reminders per bill — for example an early heads-up plus a final nudge the day before.

Quiet hours

Quiet hours suppress banners and sounds during a window you define. Notifications are still delivered to your notification center; they just do not make noise or light up the screen. Configure them in Settings → Push Notifications → Quiet Hours.
  • Set a start and end time for the window
  • Choose which days of the week it applies to
  • Overnight ranges such as 10 PM to 7 AM work as expected
  • Different windows can apply on weekdays and weekends
Quiet hours are worth setting even if you keep every notification type on. It is the difference between being informed and being woken up.

Notification types

Beyond due-date reminders, DueZen includes more than 20 specialized notification types. Enable or disable each one in Settings → Push Notifications. Digests are available if you prefer a summary to individual pings — a morning overview or a weekly roundup.
Notification content visibility on your lock screen follows your operating system settings, not DueZen’s. If you use App Lock, notifications still arrive while the app is locked.
